Meta Labs Retail

Meta wanted to create a retail destination for guests to dive deep into the world of Meta Ray Ban and pay homage to the local culture of each store. Starting as a proof of concept at Meta Connect 2024, we generated a series of hands-on experiences designed to take advantage of Meta Ray Ban’s product features — like hands free recording.

Due to it’s success, we were commisisoned to generate an LA flagship retail location that implemented the same concept. To celebrate LA’s vibrant low-rider culture, we partnered with Armando Flores — a prominent chicano low-rider artist to create an interactive rhythm game called ‘Bounce Boulevard’.

Everything was designed from scratch, including our 3D printed controller.

As you tapped the icons coming towards you, a physical hydraulic low-rider model would bounce along to the beat. The better you do, the bigger the bounce.

We also created a gallery space for you to ask questions to Meta AI from your glasses, featuring the work of Estevan Oriol.
