COMPOSITIONS
I moved to Brooklyn in September 2021 and the solitude of a new city put my creative process into overdrive. After releasing my first EP of neo-classical compositions in 2021, I set out to evolve my workflow. The melodies were coming quickly, and beginnings of ‘Sprout’ was starting to take shape.
I wanted to become a stronger producer, and started to explore evolved sonic territories. ‘High Tide’ is a study in effecting piano sounds and leveraging delay to create a staccato tapestry. ‘In Love’ attempts to capture the feeling of completely surrendering yourself to someone else, and sonically navigates the peaks and valleys of this emotional journey. ‘Sunday in Brooklyn’ is a lo-fi meditation that was borne out of long walks and late lunches in Williamsburg.
‘Sprout’ is a snapshot of a period of massive growth in my life and I hope it connects with others as it has with me.
